TJ Overstreet
TJ is a life-long Tennessee resident, has a background in Organizational Development, Entrepreneurship, Construction Management and has a general love for people. He is married to his high-school sweetheart and has been blessed with four beautiful children. After spending several years in the corporate world, TJ felt a call into full-time ministry.
Along with focusing on the day-to-day operations at The River, he enjoys a multitude of outdoor activities, sports, music, community involvement and spending time with his wonderful family.

Carisa Turner
Carisa first served on staff during college in student ministry, and after seven years in elementary education, she sensed God leading her back into ministry. Today, she serves at The River by helping bring vision to reality through clear, meaningful communication and by supporting the staff team in the work God is doing in and through the church. She is passionate about equipping ministry teams, building healthy systems, and helping the church grow in its mission to love God, love people, and impact the world.
Outside of all the fun happening at The River, Carisa is a friend, music lover, and firm believer that laughter really is good for the soul. She enjoys spending time with family, grabbing coffee with friends, and dreaming up her next adventure.

Lucas Payne
Lucas is a Maryville, TN native and a marketing major at Tennessee Tech University. With a growing passion for ministry, he is committed to using his time and talents to point others to Christ.
When he’s not serving at The River or studying for classes, Lucas enjoys spending time with friends, exploring local thrift shops, and cheering on the Vols.
