5555 Vision
After moving into our original church building, we prayed for God’s direction as a church, and He challenged us with the vision of Acts 1:8: to be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. From this, God gave us a plan with the number 5555: 5,000 disciples in Putnam County, 500 churches in Tennessee, 50 churches across the U.S., and 5 nations impacted.
Our first Sunday gathering at Miracle Road saw us sending out 50 people to plant Crossroads Church in Baxter. Since that first church plant in Putnam County, we have supported the planting of Hope in Christ, Iglesia Bautista Rios de Agua Viva, Kainos Church, Oaks Church, Oasis Church, and Living Light Church. Looking ahead, The Refuge Community Church in Clarkrange is scheduled to launch in 2026. To pursue our vision of planting 500 churches across Tennessee, we established the Churches Planting Churches Network (CPCN), which has already facilitated the planting of over 25 churches statewide.
Reaching 50 churches across the U.S. hasn’t always been easy, but families like the Cook family answered the call by planting Pioneer Church in Oregon. Since then, we have continued to expand the vision and are now working with partners in several states across the nation. For the five nations, we began with a broad approach but have since focused on Central Asia, Ivory Coast, Cuba, and international students at TTU, praying for confirmation on the fifth country. Our church remains committed to fostering a culture ready to go wherever God calls. God has been faithful every step of the way!
