College Students & Young Adults! Looking for a place to build community and discover your God-given purpose? Our College & Young Adult ministry, The Gathering, is designed to help you grow in both. We’re kicking off our winter/spring semester this Tuesday night (January 20) with a worship service at 7p, and if you’re 18–25, you’re invited to come and be part of what God is doing through The Gathering.

Plus, on January 18, after the 9:30a and 11:15a services, we’ll be hosting a Meet & Greet in Conference Rooms C/D where you can connect with Gathering leadership and staff.

This Christmas season, The River invites you to our special Christmas Eve services on December 24 at 2:30p and 4p. We’ll share in communion, sing by candlelight, and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas together. We hope you’ll gather your family and celebrate the season with us!

Please note that there will be no children's programming during the Christmas Eve services.

The church office will be closed from December 24 through January 1.

On December 12, from 6–10p, all 5th–8th graders are invited to a FREE Christmas celebration packed with worship, a Christmas message, games, a movie, dinner, hot cocoa, dessert, and more. The Great Big Family Christmas has become a beloved holiday tradition for families across the country, featuring Sidewalk Prophets’ powerful hits, original Christmas songs, and timeless holiday classics, along with heartfelt surprises that make every performance a one-of-a-kind, memory-making experience for all ages. Each night also carries a mission: the tour has raised and distributed over $300,000 to bless families and individuals in need within local communities. Come enjoy a joy-filled Christmas concert, beloved songs, special moments, and a mission-driven finale—bring your friends, your family, even a stranger. Saturday, October 25 at Amazin' Acres of Fun in Sparta! This is a family event (no drop-offs) and will run 2-6p. You are welcome to come anytime that works best for your family during that time frame. Around 5p, we will all gather together to eat pizza and roast marshmallows/make s'mores at the picnic tables/fire pit in the back. This event does require registering by 10/23 at signup.therivercc.com.

Men of all ages—come enjoy a night of connection with great food, fun games, and encouraging words from fellow men. The River Community Church and Life Church are coming together for MEN’S MOVEMENT. Join us at Life Church Cookeville from 5:30–8p!

River Singles is a community for unmarried individuals of all ages and life stages, created to offer connection, healing, and spiritual growth in this season of life.

They meet weekly to share a meal and fellowship, dig into God's Word, and spend time in small groups praying for and encouraging one another. Throughout the year, they also enjoy worship nights, social outings, service projects, discipleship opportunities, and personal encouragement from their leadership team. River Singles truly believes God has a purpose and a plan for every person—singles included!
