REGISTRATION IS FULL! The Centered team will be hosting an evening designed especially for girls in grades 2-12 and their moms or mentors!  Greater will take place on Friday, April 19th from 5:30pm-9:30pm. It will be a terrific opportunity to gather together at The River for an evening of fun, worship, and community.

The River 55+ ministry will be meeting on April 8th at 6p for our monthly potluck gathering. The dinner theme is Italian so bring your best dish! We will have storyteller, Lee Bailey, here to entertain us. Stevens Street Baptist Church’s senior group will be joining us as well. It will be a great time of food, fun, and fellowship! We’re hosting an event for your family to experience together, where you’ll sing songs, play fun games, laugh until your sides hurt, and hear the Easter story told in a way that engages every age. We truly cannot wait to experience Easter Jam with you!

Middle Schoolers, this event is for you!  Join us March 14th as we serve our community!

We will meet at The River at 4p to stuff eggs for Easter Jam, our upcoming community egg hunt. Plus pizza, snacks, group games, and much more! This is an event for Middle School families! River 55+ monthly potluck will be on Monday, February 12th at 6p in the West Wing. We are celebrating Valentine's Day and the food theme will be "HEARTY" foods. If you would like to participate in the Baby Dedication event held on Sunday, February 25th, you must attend an orientation meeting to receive all the details you need to ensure the celebration day runs smoothly for you and your family! River 55+ Ministry’s Christmas party potluck will be on December 4th at 6p in the west wing, the theme will be seasonal foods. We are doing a gift exchange so please bring a wrapped gift that will work for a man or a woman in the $10-$20 range (it can be handmade items). We are offering two meeting times that day, 11:30a and 6p, in hopes that all who would like to attend will be able to. Both meetings will follow the same schedule and give members the chance to vote. A meal will be served at each, so we encourage all who plan to come to RSVP at signup.therivercc.com to help our team plan.

Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend our family meeting. However, only those that have completed River 101 and signed the Membership Covenant will be eligible to cast a ballot on the items requiring a vote.

We will be collecting Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes that night, let us know if you need a shoebox. Looking for a way to give back this holiday season? If so, consider spending an evening with some in our community who are trying to make ends meet. You could sit down and chat, help serve a Thanksgiving meal, or take some boxes to those struggling with homelessness. We will be joining other area churches on November 7th, from 3-7p at Handymart Laundry to be a blessing to our neighbors.
