Easter Jam
River Kids invites families with kids Birth–4th grade to join us for Easter Jam, a fun and meaningful Easter experience designed for the whole family. We’ll sing songs, play games, laugh together, and hear the Easter story in a way that engages kids and adults alike.
After the program and egg hunt, keep the fun going with bounce houses, games, and lunch for everyone.
Doors open at 8:30a and the event begins at 9a. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

WinShape Spirit Night at CFA Cookeville
The WinShape Camps Road Crew is rolling into Chick-fil-A Cookeville to celebrate that camp is BACK, and you’re invited!

Greater: Mother + Daughter Event
Greater, our annual mother/daughter event, is coming up on Friday, April 24! River Kids, River Students, and River Women are coming together to host an evening designed especially for girls (in grades 2-12) and their moms or mentors. The purpose of Greater is to encourage moms and daughters to remember the promise from 1 John 4:4, “the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.”
This year, our theme is Stand Firm based on Ephesians 6. Moms and daughters will both be equipped to step into their Christian identity and stand firm in their Christian values, by putting on the full armor of God and fighting spiritual battles together in Christ. The evening includes good food, powerful worship, biblical teaching, authentic conversation, engaging breakouts, and exciting activities!
We invite you to join us for this intentional time of fun, connection, worship, and encouragement. The cost is $15/person with a $60 family max. Registration closes April 10. Register here!

CAMP CKVL is back! If you (or your student) have completed 5-8th grade, we want you to join us June 15-18 for the greatest staycation you’ve ever had. Registration detail coming soon!
River Students High School Camp
Our high school students (9–12th grade) are heading to FUGE Camp at the University of Mobile in Alabama! Students will spend the week growing in their faith through worship, Bible study, and meaningful mission experiences, all while building strong friendships and making lasting memories. Lodging, meals, and programming are provided on campus.

Throwback Worship Night
Throwback Worship Night is a high-energy night of worship happening on the final day of our 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting. We’ll sing well-loved worship songs from the 90s through the 2010s, the ones many of us grew up singing and still know by heart. It’s a chance to celebrate God’s faithfulness, lift our voices freely, and enjoy a night of worship together.

River Students High School Winter Retreat
High school students are invited to join us for Winter Retreat 2026 in Gatlinburg! This weekend is all about building community, having fun, and growing in our faith together. We’ll spend intentional time in Bible studies at the cabins, enjoy a trampoline park on Saturday, and stop by The Island before heading home on Sunday.
We’ll be staying at Wayfloy Mountain Village near Gatlinburg. The cost is $80 for the weekend (plus money for two meals on the road). Payment is due by January 29, with flexible options available, including split payments or weekly payments if needed.

Gathering Meet + Greet
College Students & Young Adults! Looking for a place to build community and discover your God-given purpose? Our College & Young Adult ministry, The Gathering, is designed to help you grow in both. We’re kicking off our winter/spring semester this Tuesday night (January 20) with a worship service at 7p, and if you’re 18–25, you’re invited to come and be part of what God is doing through The Gathering.
Plus, on January 18, after the 9:30a and 11:15a services, we’ll be hosting a Meet & Greet in Conference Rooms C/D where you can connect with Gathering leadership and staff.

River Students Middle School Winter Retreat
Middle School Winter Retreat is a two-day experience designed for 5th–8th graders to grow in their faith, build friendships, and start the new year strong. Join us on Friday, January 16 from 6–9p and Saturday, January 17 from 10a–8p for worship, messages, small groups, games, fellowship, and plenty of food and fun.
All drop-off and pick-up will take place at The River Community Church, and this is not an overnight event. Students will enjoy dinner on Friday and lunch, a snack, and dinner on Saturday, plus an off-campus service project on Saturday afternoon. Register today at signup.therivercc.com.

This Christmas season, The River invites you to our special Christmas Eve services on December 24 at 2:30p and 4p. We’ll share in communion, sing by candlelight, and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas together. We hope you’ll gather your family and celebrate the season with us!

River Women is excited to host this one day retreat for women!
Ladies ages 18 and up are invited to join us for a refreshing day filled with sweet times of worship, prayer, reflection, learning, and fellowship together. At Daytreat, you will be embraced, encouraged, and equipped to further love God, love people, and impact the world!
The event will be at The River from 9a-4:30p on Saturday, November 1. Lunch will be provided, along with morning and afternoon snacks, treats, coffee, and tea. The cost is $30 per person, and $10 for college students.

River Students Middle School Family Fall Quarterly - Pumpkin Patch
Saturday, October 25 at Amazin' Acres of Fun in Sparta! This is a family event (no drop-offs) and will run 2-6p. You are welcome to come anytime that works best for your family during that time frame. Around 5p, we will all gather together to eat pizza and roast marshmallows/make s'mores at the picnic tables/fire pit in the back. This event does require registering by 10/23 at signup.therivercc.com.
