River Singles is a community for unmarried individuals of all ages and life stages, created to offer connection, healing, and spiritual growth in this season of life.

They meet weekly to share a meal and fellowship, dig into God's Word, and spend time in small groups praying for and encouraging one another. Throughout the year, they also enjoy worship nights, social outings, service projects, discipleship opportunities, and personal encouragement from their leadership team. River Singles truly believes God has a purpose and a plan for every person—singles included! If someone is seeking that purpose or simply looking for a place to belong and grow, they’re invited to check it out.

Agape Moms is a space for moms of all ages and stages to rest in God’s agape love, pursue Jesus in authentic community, and embrace His call to make disciples in the everyday moments of mom life. It’s a community-focused, not class-driven gathering—and it’s gospel-centered, not behavior-modifying.

We welcome moms who are exploring faith as well as those already walking with Jesus. Together, we care for one another like family, root ourselves in the truth of God’s Word, and live on mission for Christ.

You’re invited to a brief Agape Moms Info Party on Sunday, August 10, after the 9:30a and 11:15a services in Conference Rooms C + D. No RSVP needed. Casual snacks and drinks will be provided, and kids are welcome to join you!

On Sunday, July 6, all three services—8a, 9:30a, and 11:15a.—will be family-style, with programming available for birth through age 2 ONLY. Everyone else will gather in the Worship Center for a service intentionally designed to engage every generation.

The message will be thoughtfully planned to connect with kids, students, and adults alike. It may feel a little different(but in the best way!!)as we worship, learn, and grow together as one church family. We can’t wait to see you there!

A fun and relaxed Preschool Playdate is happening Thursday, May 15, from 9:30–11:30a at Cane Creek Park! We’ll gather at the hilltop pavilion by the upper playground for a morning of play, connection, and snacks. This event is all about creating space for little ones to build friendships and for grown-ups to find encouragement and community in the midst of busy parenting. Whether you’re part of The River or just looking for a place to plug in, you’re welcome here—so invite a friend, bring some sunscreen, and come enjoy the morning with us. No RSVP needed!

There will be a recognition honoring graduating high school seniors at The River on Sunday, May 4, from 4-6p in the West Wing Auditorium. More details coming soon!

Plan to join us as we “Be The Church” in our community on our annual BTC Day on Saturday, May 3. We will be sending groups out all over the Upper Cumberland to serve hands-on to non-profits, widows, local parks, and more. There are opportunities for every skill level and for life groups to serve together. More details to come!

We’re hosting an event for your family to experience together, where you’ll sing songs, play fun games, laugh until your sides hurt, and hear the Easter story told in a way that engages every age. We truly cannot wait to experience Easter Jam with you!

Middle Schoolers, this event is for you!  Join us April 5 as we serve our community!

We will meet at The River at 10a to stuff eggs for Easter Jam, our upcoming community egg hunt. Plus snacks, group games, and much more! This is an event for Middle School families! If you would like to serve together as a family, please register each person in your group. Please note: younger siblings CANNOT participate without a parent onsite.

The Women's Ministry will be hosting an evening designed especially for girls in grades 2-12 and their moms or mentors! Greater will take place on Friday, March 7 from 5:30-9:30p. It will be a terrific opportunity to gather together at The River for an evening of fun, worship, and community. The cost is $15 per participant. Register by February 23 at signup.therivercc.com.
