Impacting the World.

Impacting the world isn’t just something we talk about; it’s the heartbeat of who we are.

At The River, we’re committed to seeing lives transformed by Jesus as we send disciples, plant churches, and live generously. From Cookeville to the ends of the earth, we want every person to experience the hope and love of Christ and we believe God invites each of us to play a part in that story.

Join us on Saturday, November 8, from 9–11a at The River for a pancake breakfast celebrating all God has done through our 2025 Impact Trips!

You’ll hear short stories from each team and get a first look at our 2026 trip opportunities. Plus, anyone who signs up for a 2026 trip in November will receive a 10% discount. Come be inspired and discover how you can be part of God’s mission around the world!

Bring a gift, Change a story.

This Christmas, we’re partnering with Lighthouse Christian Camp to help local children experience the joy of giving at their annual Christmas Party.

You can be part of it by donating new, unwrapped clothes, toys, or gift items for all ages. Donations will be collected in the Main Lobby and River Kids Lobby beginning this Sunday, November 9, through the end of the month.

Living Sent in Cookeville

School Adoptions (Cane Creek + Jere Whitson Elementary Schools)

Partner with local schools to encourage and support teachers, staff, and students through prayer, service projects, and acts of generosity that reflect the love of Jesus in tangible ways.

Exchange (International Student Ministry) Host Family

Open your home and heart to international college students studying in Cookeville. As a host family, you’ll help them experience community, friendship, and the love of Christ while they’re far from home.

Local Community Events

Be a light in our city by serving at community gatherings like Fall FunFest, Cooking on the Square, and Trail of Treats. These events create meaningful connections and opportunities to share Christ’s love right where we live.

Cookeville Connect Bags

Welcome new neighbors with a simple gift and personal invitation to The River. Each bag is a small way to show hospitality, build relationships, and remind people they are seen and loved.

Local Ministry Partners

We’re honored to link arms with local ministries and non-profit organizations meeting real needs in our community. From feeding families to supporting those in crisis, our partners help us love Cookeville well in Jesus’ name.
