Carisa is a friend, music lover, and firm believer that laughter is the best medicine. After being an elementary school teacher for seven years, she felt the Lord calling her away from the classroom and when God opened the door at The River, Carisa was so excited to join the team! She’s still pinching herself that she gets to come to work every day and champion the incredible ministries here. Outside of all the fun happening at The River, Carisa can be found spending time with family, hosting friends, or planning her next adventure!
